Jack Solomon
Senior Physiotherapist
WEST END
Jack is an enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist. He has a strong clinical focus on musculoskeletal and performance-based rehabilitation. A former competitive powerlifter and footballer, he brings firsthand understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport and training. Jack is passionate about empowering patients, and meeting patients where they are at and helping them get to where they want to be; whether that's returning to elite sport, getting back to the gym, or simply living without pain.
His experience includes:
Musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist in private practice
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Knox Grammar School
On-field management with Sydney FC Academy, Gordon RFC, and Western Sydney Two Blues Rugby Sevens
Advanced dry needling — upper body and lower limb
Jack has particular interest in:
Lower back pain — lumbar disc pathology and radiculopathy, facet joint dysfunction, and postural-related low back pain
Running-related injuries — medial tibial stress syndrome, tendinopathies, and stress fractures
Acute and chronic sports injuries — including muscle strains, ligament injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation
Strength training injuries and performance-based rehabilitation
Jack uses patient specific therapeutic and performance-based exercise prescription and education as well as modalities such as dry needling, joint mobilisation, myofascial release, and Active Release Technique (ART) to help get you to where you want to be.
When he's not in the clinic, Jack can be found running along the Brisbane River, in the gym, exploring nature, reading or playing chess, four-wheel driving, or tackling a DIY project at home.
