Custom Orthotics
Custom Foot Orthotics are precision-made foot devices that sit inside your shoes to support and improve the way your feet move. They help reduce excess load and stress on affected areas of the foot, while improving foot and lower limb function when you walk and run.
Tailored to you.
Our Podiatrists combine 3D scanning technology and a range of materials choices to deliver a truly personalised solution.
Whether you’re an athlete with ongoing or recurring injuries, have foot or lower limb pain during activity, stand on your feet all day, have a child with developmental foot concerns, or are an older adult needing additional support and stability, our Podiatrists can determine whether you may benefit from Custom Orthotics.
Our process
Step 1. Biomechanical Assessment
We begin with a detailed history and thorough biomechanical assessment to understand your injury and contributing factors. This helps us create orthotics tailored to how you move — not just how your feet look.
Step 2. 3D Scanning
Captures an exact digital model of your feet.
Step 3. Custom Prescription & Material Selection
Using the latest 3D printing technology, accurate to the micron, we ensure a precise and consistent fit every time. We also offer a variety of materials tailored to your activity, footwear, and condition, including:
- 3D printed nylon – lightweight, durable, and high-performance
- 3D printed polypropylene – firm support with flexibility
- Traditional EVA – soft, cushioned support
- TPU – lightweight, shock-absorbing and responsive
This combination of technology and material choice delivers a truly personalised solution.
Step 4. Fitting & Follow-up
We ensure comfort and adjust as needed.
Common conditions that may benefit from custom orthotics:
- Diabetic foot complications, such as neuropathy, foot ulcers, and Charcot foot syndrome
