Michael is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist originally from Vancouver, Canada. He completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia before moving to Brisbane to undertake his post-graduate physiotherapy studies at the University of Queensland.
He is a believer in life-long learning, and continues to delve into the latest research, listen to podcasts, and take professional development courses through his development as a clinician. Michael has a strong interest in headaches, neck, vestibular and TMJ (jaw) conditions, and has experience working in clinics focused on spinal care. He has completed further training in clinical Pilates, dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation and manual therapy, and is also qualified in the Watson Headache® Institute Level 1 and 2 Foundation Courses.
In the clinic, Michael combines hands-on treatment, exercise and education to help patients achieve lasting results. He places a strong emphasis on self-management, working collaboratively with patients to build habits and strategies that support long-term health.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, exploring new restaurants and keeping up with films and music.
